Below are some testimonials from residents and family members that have made Miramont Pointe their home. We invite you to come and visit our community, talk firsthand with current residents and take a tour!
I have already recommended the community to others for their loved ones. My loved one is thrilled with the meals. There is a monthly menu for the residents to choose from, plus a side menu for the resident to choose from as well. The community was able to give us a locked-in rate for two years. There is a monthly activities calendar for the residents and families to reference. There is transportation for the residents to use to go to the store once a week.
Exercise, clubs, entertainment, a pool, games, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents. I haven’t seen my loved one thrive so much before here. The grounds are wonderful and next to a nature preserve. It feels like you are walking into a hotel. The executive director gets to know each resident personally, and the staff are wonderful, caring and thoughtful. The maintenance team is quick to respond to requests made by the residents. Each new resident gets a personal welcome party with 12 or 14 guests and they provide the meal and beverages. They have fresh flowers that the resident or guests can take home after the welcome party. The community makes it a festive occasion each holiday that includes brunches for the family and resident.
I think it’s been everything that we hoped for. My mom keeps saying how beautiful their apartment is, how good the food is and how she wished they would have moved in two years ago. That’s a long way from refusing to even look at any senior living communities back in December 2021. They are really super comfortable there.
You are an amazingly compassionate and clear communicator. You answered every question thoughtfully, thoroughly, and with heart. You were available for multiple room tours; you tailored our visits to meet our needs and you were flexible with our schedules. You are in the right role.
I am beyond appreciative for all the interactions with you. I cannot really express how much your steady presence has meant to us, to me in particular, during such a challenging transition. Keep doing what you are doing, you demonstrate customer care above and beyond anything I could have wished for, and I am confident you do this with everyone working through these same difficult transitions. Thank you!
Last week as I was on my way to my mom’s apartment, I ran into Savannah who expressed her concern about my mom’s behavior over the past 12 hours. Savannah gave me examples and said that she was glad to have the chance to talk with me. When I evaluated my mom, I decided that her symptoms were not normal and took her to the emergency department where she was diagnosed and treated.
The next time I saw Savannah, I let her know how much I appreciated that level of attention to residents. Her actions were not only timely, but showed understanding of her role in terms of residents and family members at Miramont Pointe. This is an example of forward thinking that can be an example for all team members. Please let her know that we appreciate her efforts.
I wish to extend to everyone at Miramont Pointe – staff, administrators, residents and their families – my gratitude for your friendship. As I have said to many of you, “I would not have made it through this past year and a half had I not been here.”
I will not forget any of you and I will miss each and every one of you. During my time here I have learned much and encountered so many unique individuals. I will carry your stories forward.
As you know I am leaving to live closer to my family. I promise to stay in touch, although, it may be a while before I do so, as I will want to get settled.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for, oh so many things. I wish you all peace and good health in the years to come.
I thank you very much for the very special letter and the more than generous gift which you gave me in connection with your 10th anniversary celebration.
I also want to thank you for providing me with a comfortable retirement home and for extra help when I need it.
With sincere thanks,
Terry & I want to thank you and Miramont Pointe for the delightful evening we shared last night with our entire family. In their busy schedules it is difficult to get them all together. Thank you for the opportunity to invite them to see our new home and be together.
The flowers were beautiful and the setting lovely. The grandchildren delighted in the balloons and candy attached to them. Special thanks and appreciate should be forwarded to Chef Chris for the delicious dinner and special ‘mac and cheese’ for the kids. (That could be a luncheon or dinner special offered to the residents. Most of the adults sampled it, and the consensus was It was great!). AB, our server, did a super job, as well.
Please forward our appreciation to the individuals and group that helped make our evening perfect.
I am writing to thank you and your staff of nurses and medical aides who gave such excellent care to my father Dick. Each and every staff person that helped care for my dad showed the utmost in respect and professionalism.
Their kindness to me, my mother, and our entire family was greatly appreciated. In particular, I would like to thank Erica for her special care she showed my mother – she is an angel!
Thank you Miramont Pointe for being a true home to us for nearly seven years. You have given us the very best care, love, and support possible and we feel that every day. You have lots of activities, you take us on great trips and you keep us entertained. But, without doubt, the very best part of Miramont Pointe is the team. I can’t imagine finding so many deeply caring people anywhere else. You make us feel like family, which is indeed the definition of home.
